One-day Mission Trip

May 21st in Gentry, Arkansas Cornerstone Baptist Church is a smaller membership congregation with a passion to reach the lost in her area. To help facilitate that goal, CBC and the Arkansas Baptist State Convention has invited the ARVBA to bring our recreation ministry to Gentry Arkansas for a one-day outreach event that will help re-introduce the church to its post-Covid community. The Block Party will begin at 2 p.m. and conclude around 4. We will eat lunch on the way to Gentry and probably do dinner on the way back if we don’t smell too bad! Travel time is @ 2.5 hours and our schedule will reflrct that when we get the logistics figured out. This would be an excellent oportunity for someone to learn about the ARVBA Recreation Ministry or to just get involved in missions for the first time. More information will be posted as it becomes available and the size of the event will be determined by the number of ARVBA folks who sign up to participate. We already have a good number but could use another twenty or so to do things right.
